Portsmouth Farm-To-Farm Bike Ride
Portsmouth – May 11, 10A – 1P
On May 11, head on down to Portsmouth for the 2nd annual Portsmouth Farm-To-Farm Bike Ride. Bike with your friends and family along Middle Road, lined with six family farms. For one day, Middle Road will be completely CAR FREE! This ride is family friendly and great for all ages and abilities.
Cyclofemme
West Kingston – May 12, 10A – 1P
Celebrate Mother’s Day on May 12 with us at Cyclofemme. Every year in May, women around the globe band together on bikes to celebrate collective momentum. We’ll be celebrating the power of women and bicycles by riding together from the Amtrak Train Station in West Kingston to Narragansett. All are welcome! Bring you mom!
Ride of Silence
Providence – May 15, 7PM
On May 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM, the Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Meet us at India Point Park at 6pm ready to ride.
Bikes + Preservation: The Dorr War Tour
Providence – May 18, 10A – 12P
Take a 5 mile ride through history and experience “Rhode Island’s very own, very small Civil War” on May 18 at Bikes + Preservation: The Dorr War Tour. The ride starts at 10:00 am the northeast corner of Benefit/Bowen Streets. Don’t forget your helmet!
Elliot’s Ride for Everyone
Newport – May 19, 9A – 10A
No matter your ride experience level or age, Elliot’s Ride for Everyone is a ride for EVERYONE. Come out to ride and experience the joy of biking along the picturesque ocean coastline of Newport, RI, while celebrating the importance of safe road sharing on May 19, 9:00am – 11:00am. Bring your family and friends, bring your neighbors. This day will be a wonderful chance to celebrate public space and show our interest in protected byways to access beautiful places safely and confidently.
PVD Critical Mass
Providence – May 31, 7P
End the month right with PVD Critical Mass on May 31. This 10 mile monthly group ride around PVD starts at 7:00pm at Burnside Park, Providence. Music along the way with drinks to follow. Open to all! Costumes and decorations encouraged. Bike Lights strongly recommended if you plan to stay out beyond sunset.
