Our friends at the WRWC have just announced their summer ride series. Ride options include opportunities to check out some local ice cream stands, bike and hike or bike and swim, as well as learn about the history of the Woonasquatucket River Valley. Rides generally leave from beneath the mall on Park Street or from Riverside Park, check the details for each ride to be sure of starting place and parking arrangements.

Thurs., June 28th – 6pm:
Ride to eat Ice cream at Sundae’s Ice Cream in Johnston
Weds., July 18th -5:30pm:
Ride to Dame Farm in Johnston and pick your own fruit
Tues., July 24th – 3pm:
Bike and Swim: to Georgiaville Beach in Smithfield
Thurs., Aug. 2nd AND Thurs., Aug. 9th – 6pm:
Two Part Historic Ride series including a tour of the Clemence-Irons House in Johnston – guided by Sarah Zurier, Historic RI Historic Preservation & Heritage Commission
Tues., August 21st- 5:30pm:
We’re getting Ice Cream again!
Sat., Sept 8th – 10am-3pm:
Bike and Hike – Snake Den State Park
Sat., Sept 22nd:
Woony River Ride – The WRWC’s big fundraiser bike-a-thon.

Apple Picking Ride
