two web sites of interest for different reasons

April 16, 2010 by RI BIke

the (mostly) liberal blog www.rifuture.org has a current post about a near-miss and a recommendation to the web-site www.peopleforbikes.org created by Bikes belong. I recommend checking both out, though you have to register to post or comment on rifuture. If you are registered, a supportive comment can be helpful (I made a comment already) as some past posts on bike issues have been quite sarcastic. Peopleforbikes.org does have a summary of “bike victories” around the US (such as better bike parking, for 150 bikes, at Yankee Stadium) and another blog, (discussing benefits for kids that bike, the bike summit in DC etc) as well as some kind of e-petition.
