Ten Mile River Path extension nearly completed

December 10, 2012 by RI BIke

Thanks to one of our friends in East Providence we have heard that extension of the Ten Mile River Bike Path is nearly complete.  Visible on the DOT Bike RI website as the yellow highlighted section of the path, this provides a new off road, paved path from Slater Park to Daggett Field.  This brings the path to a total of 3 miles, winding through the woods and along the beautiful Ten Mile River.

As of December 3rd, the top coat of paving has not yet been applied, but it looks to be close to completion.
