RI Hospital Bike Parking

August 3, 2008 by RI BIke

The following news comes to us via Mark Greeve:

I received good news from RI Hospital regarding bike parking on the hospital campus. In an ironic turn of events the smoking shacks are to be converted into bike racks when the hospital moves to a smoke free campus on november 1. This will provide employees, patients and visitors multiple covered bike racks and hopefully further promote a healthy lifestyle to the community. As all hospitals in RI are to become smoke free on November 1 hopefully more will follow RI Hospitals lead.

Now we just need a good safe way to get to and from the hospital, so your average cyclist doesn’t fear for their life if the need to ride to or from the hospital.
