Recycle-A-Bike Spring Bike Sale Saturdays

April 20, 2013 by RI BIke

Recycle-a-BikeCome get a 2nd hand refurbished bicycle at the Recycle-A-Bike spring Bike Sale – a fundraiser for the community bicycle programs. Here at the community bike shop, mechanics and volunteers have taken mountains of underutilized bicycles out of the waste stream and refurbished them into road-ready vehicles to make affordable bicycles available to you! We are ready to put these bikes out in the world and clear shop space for the warmer weather programs like Build-A-Bike, Open Shop, BikeFest RI, Bike Valet and summer youth programs.

Four Saturdays of Bicycle Sales:

April 20th 10am-4pm @ Recycle-A-Bike 12 Library Ct. off Olneyville Square
April 27th 10am-4pm @ Recycle-A-Bike 12 Library Ct. off Olneyville Square
May 4th 10am-4pm @ Benefit and College St on College Hill
May 11th 10am-4pm @ 325 Public St in South Providence (part of BikeFest RI)

Bikes range in price from $30-$250. . .test ride road bike, cruisers, vintage 3-speed, mountain, bmx, and kids’ bikes.

Recycle-A-Bike (RAB) is a volunteer-based community organization that connects people with refurbished bikes, provides practical bike knowledge, and advocates bicycle use by safer, more confident cyclists. For more information, check out recycleabike.org
