The Mayor Taveras, Planning and Development , Providence Bike and Pedestrian Advistory Commission and consultant VHB, Inc. will be holding a public workshop on development of a revised Bicycle Master Plan for the city.
The session will present work that has been to date in evaluating the existing bicycle route network, assessment of suitability of streets to bike route designation and other information gathered and used to find likely candidates for designation and development. Also planned is the launch of a smart phone app to collect trip origin and destination data, rollout of the project website and several other activities. Full flyer is available here.
