@Dexter Park
A celebration of bike riding and grassroots organizing in the city. It will start with a ride-your-bike scavenger hunt and end with a party at Dexter Park on the west end of Providence. The scavenger hunt starts at the park between 2:30-3pm. Maps will be provided. Go on a ride to visit of some of the most important and irreplaceable local organizations that serve social missions and meet your fellow bike riders!
Back at the park, there will be live music, slow bike races, food, and multiple raffles of bike paraphenelia, art work, books, jewelry, etc! Bring your bike for the event or get a bike from us. We’ll have 2nd hand refurbished bikes available for sale throughout the day. All donations and sales goes to support RAB’s community bicycle shop and Libertalia’s library.
Pedal to the People is hosted by Recycle-a-Bike and Libertalia.
