city planning charrettes, continued…

November 10, 2008 by RI BIke

On Wednesday Nov 12, the city planning department will present a summary of the charrettes held for the Fox Point, College Hill, and Wayland Square neighborhoods.  The meeting will be from 6-8 pm in the dining room of the Lincoln School (where the north end of Butler Ave meets the south end of Blackstone Boulevard).  If you’re interested in learning more about what’s in store for making this part of the city more bike/ped friendly, this is a good meeting to attend.  Results will be posted on bikeprovidence.org.

Also, as more of these charrettes and charrette summary sessions are planned, pertinent information will be posted here.
