Providence’s first-ever ciclovia is on! As previously advertised, the City will exclude motor vehicles from Broad St (between Thurbers Ave and Prairie Ave) from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday, September 9. Lots of vendors, exhibitors, musicians, and more will line up along the street. Best of all, did I mention NO CARS? Big thanks to Mayor Angel Taveras! Please spread the word, and be sure to come out for this first-ever ciclovia. If this is successful, it may lead to a Sunday morning city-wide car-free loop in 2013!
