The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is offering a “Behind the Scenes” Leisurely Valley Bicycle Tour on May 11, 2013. The tour will be a
leisurely, narrated half-day tour is paced to be appropriate for all fitness levels with stops at many points of interest. We pedal through four Blackstone Valley communities and talk about the history, culture and development of its settlements, transportation and industry. We’ll hear tidbits and tales while riding through charming back streets and neighborhoods.
The tour costs $35 (plus RI Sales Tax) per person and includes lunch, admissions and fees to various points of interest, along with a guided, narrated half-day bicycle tour. Departure time is 10am. Return time will be approximately 1pm.
