The City of East Providence has scheduled a public hearing at City Hall on June 1 in Room 306 at 7 p.m.
It is unclear from the Patch article what the agenda and purpose of the meeting is, as it seems based on prior reporting that the plan is essentially already in place and will disrupt a section of the path from November 2011 to April 2012. I’m not familiar with all of the place names and the exact section of path being closed. Is there an alternative route that will be signed for path users to get around the closed section safely? I don’t recall there being such for the last closure between Riverside Square and Crescent View Ave.
