RIDOT closing section of Coventry Greenway – August 20th

August 11, 2012 by RI BIke

Source: http://www.rigreenways.org/paths/cvmap1.jpgAccording to a Coventry Patch article

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) announced Friday that it is scheduled to close a section of the Coventry Greenway in Coventry on Monday, August 20, 2012. The path will be closed to all users from Station Street to the area of Town Farm Road, where the path transitions to an undeveloped trail.

This section of the path is scheduled to be closed until the Summer of 2013.  It will likely come as no surprise, but no formal detour will be posted during the closure.  Do we have anyone in the area (or familiar with the area) that would be willing to provide us with details about an appropriate detour so we can post it for our readers?
