RIDOT Holding Public Meeting for Pawtucket segment of Blackstone Bikeway

October 5, 2011 by RI BIke

RIDOT will be holding an open information session on October 11th at 7PM to share information and discuss concerns brought by residents in the Taft Street and Alfred Stone Road sections related to the Blackstone Valley Bikeway routing along those roads.  Community members in this area have expressed opposition to the striping and signage for the path after work began recently.

The meeting is open to the public.  No mention is given of what the specific opposition is to the signage and or lane striping.  If you live in Pawtucket, especially near this segment of the bike path, this meeting is your chance to learn the plans and have your voice heard.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 7 p.m.
Blackstone Valley Charter School
334 Pleasant St.
Pawtucket, RI
