Providence Pothole Project

February 9, 2011 by RI BIke

Greater City: Providence linked to The Providence Pot Holes Project, a local resource to record the worst potholes, road heaves and related dangers that have cropped up this winter.  According to the GC:PVD posting, created by local cyclists, though I’ve been unable to confirm that.  I’ve added a few of mine and see some familiar names.   Hopefully the Mayor’s office and Public Works see this and can use it to respond to these dangerous conditions on our next warm days.  Having reported pot holes to Public Works by phone, I hope that the new mayor can successfully get technology deployed for information like this or SeeClickFix to the right departments.
