What: The RdR is an urban cyclocross tour to raise funds for Bikes Belong and the East Coast Greenway. The Ronde springs from the ashes of your urban riding nightmares, then like an incubus breeds with post-apocalyptic streetscapes, the industrial age, fine Victorian architecture, and lovely bay views. The resulting mutant baby will giggle & barf, then provide you with one hell of a fun non-competitive bike tour of greater Providence. $20 donation “requested”. 35 miles. At the end: a party with free beer, grub, and booby prizes.
When: Monday, October 11 · 9:00am – 2:00pm
Where: In and around Providence on asphalt, gravel, dirt, mud, & cobbles; meet at 9 at the RI State House south lawn for pre-ride bagels, bananas & coffee.
