Congratulations to East Providence and all the businesses and residents of Watchamoket Square! The long awaited First Street protected bike lane pilot is open! First Street is an important connection between the George Redman Linear Park along the Washington Bridge and the East Bay Bike Path. By protecting cyclists along First Street, East Providence has made bicycling safer and more accessible for riders of all ages and abilities.
