6th Annual Dump the Pump Day

June 14, 2011 by RI BIke

… or ride a bike

On June 16, 2011 American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and public transportation systems across the country will celebrate the 6th Annual National Dump the Pump Day.

For those who joined us for Bike to Work Day, this is a perfect opportunity to ride again.  With average gas prices in RI hovering around $3.80/gal, now is the time to rethink how you get yourself around.  You can read more about the national event on on the APTA website.
