Two Bike Movies @ Knight Memory Library

Two Bike Movies @ Knight Memory Library

The office manager, Dave Dvorchak, of nine neighborhood libraries in Providence is planning a little bike movie fest in honor of Earth Day.  They will be showing “Return Of The Scorcher” and “Critical Mass: We Are Traffic” @ 6:30pm on April 21st at Knight Memorial Library (275 Elmwood Ave, Providence) in the auditorium.  The event will be free to the public.

Let’s get out, enjoy a few bike related movies, and show our support local Providence libraries!

Much thanks are due to the staff of the Knight Community Library for putting on a good program. We saw the documentary Critical Mass which was quite inspiring and there was also good food, and an opportunity to distribute info on the RI Bike Coalition and related materials. The staff also said they would leave our flyers in the library for further distribution.

However, there is no bike rack at that branch library, and I hope we can find a way to help the Providence Community Library there with a fundraiser to help pay for such a bike rack there.
