Unfortunately I cannot make this meeting, but with regard to bike to woirk day, please send out an e-flyer by e-mail that we can forward to our various lists.

I did notice that Warwick and East Providence town governments were encouraging thir employees to bike that day, and the city of Providence referred to it in thir weekly e-newsletter.

With regard to legislation, please considier supporting S204A (Sponsor: Sosnowski) which bans text-messaging while operating a motor vehicle (suitable exceptions for emergency workers etc) which I think can enhance safety for bicyclists, pedestrians, and other motorists. This bill has passed the Senate 5/7 (not yet assigned to a House Committee.)
