Book Reading December 13th – The Lost Cyclist
Dec 3rd, 2010 | By Mark Dieterich | Category: EventsAre you looking for something cycling related to do during the holiday season? We are happy to announce that David Herlihy will be joining us for a reading of his book The Lost Cyclist: The Untold Story of Frank Lenz’s Ill-Fated Around-the-World Journey. Here is a quick tease of the story of Frank Lenz we will be discussing. David will be starting off the evening with a presentation, followed by a discussion period.
We will be meeting at our regular location, the community meeting room at the Brown University bookstore (244 Thayer Street, Providence). The bookstore has arranged to have books available for sale, should you wish to purchase a copy.

How much will the books be?
I'm told they are $26. However, the bookstore is having a holiday sale between 12/6 and 12/15, so you would save 20% the night of the talk.
Yeah, there's no Procycle 2010. Procycle 2009 did attract about a thousand visitors, and still virtually attracts hundreds on-line at…

Every art form was represented, including constructed artifacts, film debut, interpretive dance, live concerts, readings, recorded music, sculpture, and video. Did you attend?
Great book! Looking forward to this event.
We had a good turnout for the book reading last night. Interesting story and I'm looking forward to reading the book, a perfect way to spend some holiday free time.
