Washington Bridge UPDATE

RIDOT has a new estimate for the temporary reopening of the Washington Bridge sidewalk.  We’re now looking at late February.  Our weather of late is being blamed for these delays.  Considering the difficulty I’ve had this month in simply walking up my driveway, I can’t say that I’m surprised.



Advocacy Meeting Location Change

The location for the February 5th advocacy meeting has moved to Legend Bicycles (181 Brook Street, Providence) @ 6pm.  We’ve been invited to enjoy the warmth of a woodstove and the promise of some Jiffy Popcorn.  How could we say no? Hope to see you there!

My wife discovered a new sign today at our local library, Rogers Free Library.  Posted next to the entrance near the bike rack was a sign reading, “No Lock?  Come to the children’s circulation desk and we’ll lend you one”.  How cool is that?  She asked one of the librarians about it and found out
